In most instances, our fees are paid exclusively by the seller (unless otherwise negotiated). Even though the seller is who pays us, we work exclusively for you and on your behalf, putting in the time, effort, and diligence needed to give you as positive a home-buying experience as possible. Over time, we have seen our efforts pay dividends through the many happy home-buying customers we’ve served, the repeat clients we work with again, and the strong referrals we receive.
Once we establish what it is you are looking for, we scour the market. We dig top to bottom for you – searching a number of sites, including, but not limited to: The Regional Multiple Listing Service (RMLS), instantaneous listing notification services, For Sale By Owner searches, and company and neighborhood networking. During the searching stage, our goal is to bring you information quickly about the listings that you’re interested in.
The excitement of finding a new home is unparalleled, and honestly the best part of our jobs. We know, however, that finding the right property is only one step on the path to homeownership. The team takes the lead during the life of a transaction regarding inspections, appraisals, and transactional communication. As the buyer, you’re invited to participate as much as you like, and we consistently update you on developing information. We will advise you and stand up for you as best we can during this period and process.
Once the appraisal has occurred, it is just a matter of time before loan and deed documents are ready to sign – making you a new homeowner.
